We didn't set out to build a

A place to show up without knowing anyone. To find someone to talk to, laugh with, travel with, or simply sit beside.
This is the story of the women who showed up, the ideas we couldn't let go of, the people who helped build the hood — and the many ways you can find your way in.
What We Stand For
We want to be the little nudge that gets you to say, “Fine. I’ll go alone.”
We think most strangers are just girlfriends you haven't shared a chai with yet.
We think community happens in the doing; over breakfasts, on dance floors, around tables, on trips, and one weekend at a time.
We’re here to be the reason that gets you out the door and into a room full of women you haven’t met yet.
We think showing up is enough.
And sometimes, the friend you've been looking for is already in the room.
Our Story
It started with a Sunday. Well, almost.
It started on an endlessly long afternoon at an airport, an excruciating layover, and a very simple thought: surely there must be someone around here I could have a coffee with.
That thought stayed with us. What if finding women to do the small, ordinary things with didn’t have to depend on who we already knew?
So we made a WhatsApp group, put the idea out there, and waited. Three days before our first meet-up, there were still no sign-ups. And then, ten women showed up. Soon, we were meeting in Sohini's living room talking, laughing, and figuring this thing out as we went.
For Diwali, five women turned up with food from home and made a proper celebration of it. Nothing fancy. Just women who had been strangers, suddenly sharing a table, a festival, and a little bit of each other’s lives. And that’s where WITH really began.

The Reality
Urban India is home to millions of women navigating life independently - by choice or circumstance. The need for meaningful, in-person connection has never been more urgent.
The Gap
Modern Urban Loneliness as Traditional networks are either outdated, inaccessible, or purely digital leaving a gap between connection and belonging.
Our Vision
Building India’s most trusted women’s community network — where every woman finds connection, collaboration, and belonging, right in her neighbourhood.
The Conviction
When women unite, mountains move and miracles happen. For generations women world over have done wonders by having each other’s back.
Founder's Highlights
I started Ittwaaaar Things in my drawing room. Sunday mornings, strangers, my own home.
I didn't know if anyone would actually come. Entire Saturdays, I would spend anxiously waiting for confirmations. They did come. Sometimes 4, sometimes 10 — but they did. Women trusted a stranger enough to come.
Some of them never left — they're the loudest voices in this community now.
In two years, I've personally met over 700 women. Talked to far more. And not one of them — okay, except 4 — have disagreed that women need more women to do life WITH.
